Jordan Halvorson

Jordan Halvorson is a consulting engineer with a degree in architectural engineering from the University of Wyoming. Jordan's experience includes project management, structural inspections, technical report writing, preparing design calculations and construction documents, interpreting building codes and design standards, and problem solving. Jordan has 10 years of experience working for
several engineering firms prior to joining National Inspection Services.
While with National Inspection Services, Jordan has:
- Inspected and monitored construction sites to ensure adherence to safety standards, building codes, and specifications
- Reviewed and interpreted plans, blueprints, site layouts, specifications, or construction methods to ensure compliance to legal requirements and safety regliations.
- Prepared reports of findings for investigations and communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
- Identified corrective actions necessary to bring properties into compliance with applicable fire codes, laws, regliations, and standards, and explained these measures to property owners or their representatives.
- Utilized logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Researched, compiled, analyzed and organized information from reports, investigations, and books for use in reports and special projects.
- Performed structural investigations including on-site inspections during construction and provided rapid and realistic structural solutions.
- Conducted progress meetings with clients to ensure customer satisfaction; managed client relations throughout projects and developed strong working relationships
- Actively pursued continued education attending building construction seminars with topics including Commercial Building Commissioning, Fenestration (Residential & Commercial), and Commercial Building Envelope.
